Question by Kristin K: Magic Bullet Food Processor…?
My son eats pureed foods and I’ve tried the Cuisinart Mini Food Prep Prossesor…. BOOOO!!! It smelled like the motor was going to burn up… And it wasn’t even working that hard! And it left big chuncks of food. I’m using a blender now… and it’s such a pain to get all of the food out from around and under the blades! It takes so long just to blend up his foods. I was wondering if the Magic Bullet would be good for the use I need it for? Or maybe a different food processor? I was thinking of saving up some money and buying one of the good ones… Like the $ 150-200 ones… I’m just tired of dealing with the blender…

I have one that I was given as a gift, and I have to say that I was surprised at how sturdy the gadget actually is….. I love to use it! Of course the more money you spend the more machine you get….but for the money it is a very good option.

i have the magic bullet. its really great for a lot of things. it blends everything smoothly and fast! i usually make milkshakes or something and it chops my icecubes up in like 1 second. it does have a small burning smell though while blending things, but what food processor wouldn’t.

I have 2 magic bullets… and am so addicted to them! I used it for baby food for my first son and it was better than any blender. You have so much control over how much the food gets chopped, so it goes right from purees to chunkier foods when your baby gets a little older. Not to mention it’s great for milkshakes, smoothies and party dips. Buy one, you’ll love it!

The Magic Bullet is OK, but frankly I suggest you investigate an immersion blender by Kitchen Aid. They are available for under $100.00 and are not only beautifully efficient they eliminate the step of moving hot food from the pan to a blender or food processor.
I got mine at http://www.your-vegetarian-kitchen.com/home in their Go Shopping Mall for a great price. I love it! I also got my magic bullet there which is great for protein shakes.
