KitchenAid Food Processor: KFP 750 or KFP 760?

Question by sunnycook: KitchenAid Food Processor: KFP 750 or KFP 760?
I’m having big trouble trying to decide which food processor to buy – should I get the kfp 750 or kfp 760. I’ve read extensively on both models and I’m totally confused now. (I’m assuming they’re both good for mixing and kneading dough) Some reviewers say that the 760′s ultra-wide tube is quite useless for long items, some say it’s great! I know that the 750 comes with the “full size” tube – but is it big enough to fit whole vegetables, like potatoes, tomatoes, cucumber, etc.? The 760 comes with an egg whip and a citrus press – these are really attractive features since I was looking to buy a stand mixer a while back, but with this I’m thinking I can postpone that to next year and make do with the egg whip till then. But then again, I think these accessories can be bought any later time, if need be, and that the ultra-wide tube may not be worth paying the extra $ $ . Help!!

Suggestion: Last month I seemed to have the same situation. I finally went to http://www.kitchenaid.com and they had a couple refurbished 600 Series Stand Mixers for approximately $ 250.00 shipped !! Yep, I bought one, and am I glad I did. It’s fabulous if you love to Bake, or cook.
